‚Mafinga‘ ist ein Ort in der Iringa-Provinz in Tanzania (Gebirge Süd-West-Tanzania, oberhalb des Malawisees).
Die Sansevierien aus dieser Gegend haben alle hochsukkulente Blätter, die bei alten Pflanzen fast rund werden. (eMail-Aussage Ernst Specks 13.06.11)

Vorkommen: Tanzania, W of Mafinga, Straße nach Madibira, 45 km, Mbeya Provinz
!Vielerorts hört man, dass diese Pflanze auch Sansevieria sp. „Dragon Wing“ genannt wird.
